After years of planning, searching, and grant-writing, a full-time blacksmith has finally been hired. Our new colleague will keep Fort Randolph open from Thursdays through Sundays beginning later in the spring of 2008. The metalwork created at the fort will be for sale at the blacksmith's discretion. In other Fort Randolph news, the gift shop is getting a facelift and new bathrooms and changing areas were installed.

If you have any interest in carrying this book when it comes out, or would like more information, please email us. We would like as many outlets to carry thiis book as possible as it will be a great chance to promote the history of Point Pleasant And, for those who are wondering, the book is 100% Mothman free (there are no pictures of the Mothman. If there were, then that'd be a different story.).
