Mason County, a land of rolling hills and dense forests, is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy bird watching, camping, boating, fishing, hiking, or cycling. While traversing the hills and valleys of the county, be sure to keep watch for the infamous Mothman - a large, winged creature whose presence in the county in the 1960s continues to spark the world's curiosity.
